UPS/Kohler complete acquisition of Woodgate

Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Kohler Group, has acquired the Woodgate building on Bartley Wood Business Park in Hook in one of the notable office deals of the year to date, on the M3 Corridor.

Hollis Hockley and CBRE jointly advised Wirral Borough Council acting as Adminstrating Authority for Merseyside Pension Fund. Lambert Smith Hampton advised UPS.

Harbert retain HH services at iQ Farnborough

Following US private equity group, Harbert's, acquisition of iQ Farnborough, the private equity firm and asset management partner XLB Property has retained Hollis Hockley's services to advise alongside CBRE and Cushman & Wakefield at the 1.6 million sq ft flagship development.

The business park will continue to be known as iQ Farnborough for the next few months before a re-branding exercise is launched.

iQ Farnborough currently offers total lettable space of 411,000 sq ft with planning consent now secured to build four further buildings providing another 215,000 sq ft.

Vertex, Chineham Court - SOLD

Vertex, a flagship 48,000 sq ft office building constructed by clients of Cordea Savills, has been sold to Hampshire County Council for £6.15 million.  The purchase is part of an office rationalisation programme enabling the release of other buildings from their portfolio.
